Tonsai Round Two

Hi everyone! Blogger is making me put the photos first today, so here you go :)
Andaman Nature Resort, where we're currently staying
Looking out toward Railay Beach/Bay
Waiting for a boat back to Tonsai beach after a morning of climbing
Longtail boat ride back from Eagle Wall

We're in Tonsai and climbing it out for the rest of the trip! We'll be here, on the Phra Nang Peninsula, until March 13th when we're going to take the train back up to Bangkok (in order to spend two days perusing the markets there) and then we'll catch our flight home on March 16th. It seems so close already! We're almost the people who have "just one week left" of our trip - we've been meeting them all over the country. "Wow," we keep saying, "I wonder what it will feel like when we're those people with just another week left." Well, it's almost us! Today we're taking a rest day after three days of climbing, and it feels really good to do nothing and lounge around (and hike across the jungle to the cheapest internet cafe) and read. We found a copy of Open (Andre Agassi's autobiography) at a used bookstore, and we both read it in a matter of days. I had read it once before but it's such a good book, I had to read it again. We're staying at Andaman Nature Resort (village of bungalows with adjacent chill out/eatery space, run by a family) and they play BBC News in the mornings, so we're staying up with current events.
Pretty soon here we're going to do a joint blog entery all about climbing - the different locations we've been to, the culture surrounding climbing here, all the hilarious things we see and hear at the crag, and a bit of a run-down about the style of climbing here on limestone. And pictures.
Until our next rest day, saying hey and wishing everyone well!
